In order to compensate the increased diesel costs, we charge a diesel surcharge. The diesel surcharge is a percentage increase on top of the transport price.
The basic price is the price set on 1 February 2022. At that time, this was €1.5236 (excl. VAT). We apply the diesel price published by TLN (Transport and Logistics Netherlands).
The diesel surcharge has been set at 5% as of 1 February 2022. The diesel surcharge will be calculated on the first and fifteenth of each month. Each 3 Euro cent (excl. VAT) increase/decrease in the diesel price versus the basic price of 1 February 2022 will result in an increase/decrease of 1% in the diesel surcharge. A decrease in the diesel price below €1.3436 does not lead to a negative diesel surcharge. The minimum surcharge is therefore 0%.
